When we arrived, the property wasn’t available even though the booking had gone through—apparently the calendar wasn’t synced. No one was there, and it took a while to reach the owner, so keep that in mind if you book last minute.

A stunning place right on the beach, with a recent build and friendly staff, and the terrace view is gorgeous. The restaurants nearby on the beach and in the village are excellent, and if you want to unplug this is the spot, plus it’s a stone’s throw from the entrance to Tayrona park, which is super convenient. On the downside, there’s no phone coverage anywhere in the area, no Wi‑Fi, and water and power cuts happen a lot. The beach and sea are beautiful, but swimming is strongly discouraged—though you can wade in without risk. This hotel is more suited to backpackers than honeymooners, and I think the price is too high for the view alone.
