The breakfast was very rich! I would have preferred an espresso coffee as well.

The location and room size were good, but there was no coffee in the room.

The hotel’s great location near the old harbor, its cleanliness, the good breakfast, and helpful staff all stood out, and the room offered plenty of space for clothes, handy outlets for charging electronics, and a big enough balcony with a table and chairs to sit outside in the morning. The only drawback was the stairs to Reception, which were a problem for my bad knees; although a lift was available, it was only accessible before 10–11 p.m., so I had to take the stairs each night after returning from town.

I don’t know what to say! I’m struggling, maybe because of the location. Many!!! The raw, uncleaned, and filthy condition of the room – wallpaper, wood, furniture, and the bathroom – made me feel like I was in a mess, with rusted fixtures and a quality that had nothing to do with the price! Parking was insufficient – the hotel advertised free parking, yet I had to search the surrounding neighborhood for a spot when I came and went late. Okay, we said not to charge so much! The cost of the rooms is not justified.

I had a wonderful stay at Diamantidis Hotel Limnos while touring the North East Aegean Islands in June. My room was very spacious, comfortable, clean, and had a nice balcony that offered a partial view toward the castle and also onto a housing estate – I didn’t mind it, but if you think that might be an issue, ask for a room that doesn’t overlook houses. The hotel facilities were beautiful and well maintained, the swimming pool was lovely and cleaned every day. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly, always there if you needed any assistance, and there was 24‑hour check‑in, which was very useful for late ferry or flight arrivals. The location was very good, a 5‑minute walk to the town centre and a 10‑minute walk to the Castle and the town’s sandy beaches. The hotel also provided information on bus tours and car hire; Lemnos is a large island with no usable bus service, so to see the sights I would recommend either taking the bus tours or hiring a car. Overall, it was a perfect place for me to stay and explore Limnos, and I hope to return within the next few years. Regards, Matthew.
