The bathrooms are fun, and the little bungalows feature cool outdoor bathrooms. Breakfast was really good, and we loved how many cats there were. Unfortunately the bungalows have thin walls, so you can hear conversations or footsteps from outside, though that rarely happens because they’re spaced far apart. The site is fairly close to the village, so the 5 am prayer can be loud, but that’s part of the location.
“beautiful stay and beautiful staff”
The place is beautiful, well‑located, and the rooms are exactly what you need. What makes it truly special are the staff and the food! They’re super attentive, kind, and make you feel like family. The food and breakfast are excellent, and the coffee is the best. We loved it so much we returned on the same trip. Julie/Yuli runs the place and is fantastic; she even left some nice fruit and coffee ready for us to take at 5 am when we had to leave. The water is spring water, a bonus, and they don’t use plastic straws.

LOA is on a beautiful beach. From the gate, you cross a quiet street and find yourself on a lovely shore with crystal‑clear water. The huts are spaced far apart. Breakfast is limited but fine. The guests are very diverse, the vibe is relaxed and tasty, and it’s eco‑friendly. The huts are somewhat simple and dark, there’s no drinking water, and the filtration system was down, but they gave us a bottle of water. The kitchen is a bit limited, but that’s no problem for two nights.
“paradise!”
Breakfast was great, many choices, so I was happy to eat it everyday for 5 days. nice areas to chill on the balcony and in the garden, on hammocks. The light switches were in odd places, but honestly, that's being really picky
“One of the best places we stayed between bali and Flores.”
It’s so peaceful among the coconut trees. The staff were amazing and the food was the best we’ve had on Sumbawa. The pool was basic and quite cold with a cover on it, and sometimes there was limited seating because many people come from outside to eat since the food is so good. A kettle would have been nice, but we bought one for $6 in the nearby town.
