I had a wonderful stay at Long Yun Leisure Farm. I was looking for a laid‑back, relaxing stay in the woods with beautiful views, and this place was perfect for that. The tea fields on site are beautiful and the trails behind the facility were very fun to explore. Food was 10/10. Everything was very clean. Staff were great. Beautiful room. Perfect experience for a solo female traveler! Thank you!

The location is quiet and right on the region’s most beautiful hiking trail, from which we could start full‑day hikes through the magical landscape. The food was great, with vegetables from the farm, and as vegetarians we missed nothing. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Because we were visiting in the off‑season, there were few guests—there was no evening entertainment, but the hotelier hosted a free tea tasting from the farm with us on two evenings. A free shuttle was provided at check‑in and check‑out. The friendly farm dog “Guabao” greeted us warmly at the beginning and came by for petting from time to time.

The place sits right in the middle of hiking spots and exploring the area is a breeze. The rooms are very basic, hot water only available at limited times, but that’s expected on a working farm and not a big issue.

If you’re after hikes around Shizhuo and tea‑farm scenery, this spot is perfect because the trails open straight to the property. We booked the tea ceremony ahead of time and it turned out to be a fantastic introduction to tea culture. Evening activities were a hit—mochi making was fun and the nighttime farm tour let us stargaze while learning about various plants and fruits. The beds were super comfy, even with a heated mattress that we didn’t use but would be handy on colder nights. Everything stayed clean, the food was simple, healthy and tasty. The location is a bit remote, but the shuttle service made it convenient.
