The staff were very helpful, especially with arranging boats and pointing us in the right direction, and the pool was a relief in the humidity. Being surrounded by rainforest wildlife was cool, but the food was bland and overpriced, and the rooms were so humid that the bed and our clothes stayed damp.

The cabins are in the middle of the forest, surrounded by monkeys, frogs, and water everywhere. There are no windows, just nets, so you hear all the forest sounds and rain constantly. The bathroom had only one soap that worked for both body and hair and had a bad smell; the water was salty and unfit to drink, though you could fill a bottle at the restaurant area, but only two bottles were offered each time and they weren’t cold. More than anything, a strong sewage odor permeated the room periodically, making it unpleasant—probably an infrastructure issue. The restaurant food was edible but nothing special, with limited choices like the dining room. The fruit tasted good. The ceiling fan was covered in mold or rust.

The place is stunning, and I couldn't find anything I didn't like. The shower in my room was absolutely huge, and the overall spot was spotless and clean.

The location by the water was cool and the pool looked nice, but neither the outdoor nor indoor areas had any comfortable seats or anything to sit on, and the food wasn’t particularly special.
