The owners were uncomplicated and flexible, and the contact was perfect for my needs (a bed for a bridging night). The surroundings invite walking and hiking, and aside from passing trains it’s really quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had truly hot water for showers—nothing lukewarm like elsewhere. Otherwise it was clean, smelled good, had a good drink selection, and a parking spot right at the house. A huge longhouse with charm, full of corners, edges, quirks, and creaks that tell its life story.
