“Hôtel confortable et pratique avec une bonne communication”

The communication was excellent. After receiving no response from two other hotels about elevator access for our very heavy luggage, we reached out to Alane and got an immediate reply. They even proactively wrote to us about luggage storage for early arrival. The hotel is just a 5‑minute walk from Gare de l’Est and a 10‑minute walk from Gare du Nord, which is very convenient for commuters like us who can’t rely entirely on public transport to catch an early train. I highly recommend this hotel.

The place was spotless, the staff were very friendly, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Overall, I have no complaints about anything.

Convenient location near Gare de l’Est, beds fairly comfortable. The breakfast was embarrassing in a tiny, windowless basement room; the variety was terrible and the hygiene conditions were shocking. The room was very small and not very clean. The bathroom was tiny and needed several renovations (sink, shower, sliding door…) and it didn’t even have a ventilation fan. Moreover, the acoustic isolation between the rooms was completely nonexistent.

“Cool and comfortable, but the neighborhood felt a little chaotic.”

Despite the scorching summer heat in Paris, the DAIKIN air conditioning performed wonderfully, letting me sleep comfortably. There was no fridge in the room, but bottled water from a nearby convenience store was cheap. The shower area was also perfectly fine. The station was close by, making my departure the next morning hassle‑free. Because of the extreme heat, many people—some homeless—sat outside the nearby church and in the park, creating a slightly chaotic atmosphere. I didn’t feel entirely relaxed walking around the neighborhood.
