The air conditioner didn’t work, the towels were dirty, there were roaches in the room, and no tissues in the bathroom. When I asked for clean towels, I was told they had none left.

Absolutely nothing. I had to go to the hotel office three times to change rooms because the first one had a clogged bathroom, the second had dirty sheets, and the third was a complete mess—this hotel was a disaster.

I didn’t like any of it. The man behind the window was rude and impossible to deal with; even with my confirmation number, he couldn’t locate my reservation, so I didn’t stay at all because he wouldn’t do his job. The location felt unsafe and I wouldn’t have let my wife stay there alone; someone was selling drugs on the corner, and the whole area was gated, which only made it feel more dangerous. I couldn’t speak to the staff face‑to‑face—you had to talk through a window. Coming from a small town where we handle things differently, this definitely didn’t make me feel welcome.

I hated everything about it: every toilet was broken, roaches were everywhere, and the whole place felt unstable and nasty.
