The room was very large, and the bathroom even bigger; however, because the beer garden was open, the staff were outside, the reception was not staffed, and the beer garden stayed loud until after 2 am.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the double‑bedroom was quite spacious—though not brand new, it was perfect for a bike trip along the Danube Cycle Route because it’s very close to the train station. The food at the on‑site tavern was tasty, and the sounds in the beer garden didn’t bother us since the quiet hours were respected. We especially appreciated being able to lock our bicycles safely in a nearby building. We felt a bit uneasy arriving on a day off, but the front desk had a sign at the entrance indicating which room we’d booked, and the key was left in the door. That was fine, though it would have been nice if we’d received a pre‑arrival email or text about it.
