The locals were super friendly and the hotel sits right in the middle of the city, so getting to the sights was a breeze. The only downside was the early morning noise from the traffic – it was a bit too loud for a good night's sleep.

Breakfast was solid with a decent variety, but the inn no longer serves dinner, so you have to walk out to another place after a long day. That’s not ideal when you’ve already trekked 15 km. Luckily there are two nearby restaurants we could hit on foot, one of which the owner recommended. We had a pleasant chat with her the next morning.

We got a warm welcome even though we arrived an hour early, and they left a big bottle of mineral water in our room – that was a nice touch. Unfortunately we missed the pork roast dinner because we were too late, which was a bummer.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the place was clean and cozy in a quiet spot, and the breakfast was tasty with fresh eggs. It’s also close to the bus station, which is convenient. The only gripe is there’s no fridge or minibar – a minor issue for those who expect that.
