The room was nice with a nice view, the breakfast was good, and the owner Ishani helped with a cooking class that made the evening a delicious dinner. No complaints.

Except for the location, we liked nothing. The accommodation was very damp, not at all comfortable (all our clothes and bags got soaked). It was not clean, and we even doubted whether the sheets had been changed. There were many stains, and it didn't even smell like laundry. We were told there was Wi‑Fi, but we had to plug in the box ourselves and ask twice for the code. In the end we realized we only had access to Google (they hadn't taken the social‑media pack, probably more expensive), so we had to negotiate that. The breakfast was not good. Do not book here; there must be much better places on Ella. We have been traveling for nine months, and this is the first time we encountered such accommodation and had to leave earlier than planned.
