I was blown away by the location, perfect for exploring northern Portugal. The breakfast was great, and the ground‑floor garden room was beautiful and spotless. Thanks to Claudino for serving us a three‑course menu the first night.

We really enjoyed the lovely accommodation. The room, the seating terraces, and the kitchen with a usable fridge were all impressive. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and Claudino proved to be an excellent host and chef—rarely have I eaten so well. Nothing felt excessive. We stayed four nights and booked dinner each evening. The house’s own wines, especially the port, were superb. A few beautiful cities are nearby, and all information was printed and explained for us.

The owner’s kindness and attentiveness, the facilities, the views, and the breakfast were all wonderful. The bed is a bit small, noisy, and uncomfortable due to its excessive firmness.
