The décor style and the location suited our visit to the brocante in Maroilles. However, we had to handle the cleaning ourselves or an extra fee would be charged; the place was generally tidy upon arrival but lacked detail, had no air conditioning—only a fan that didn’t cope with the high temperatures—and the table and chairs on the terrace were uncomfortable.

“Enjoy the bath just watch out for the hefty cleaning fee!”

The bath is stunning and the house’s décor is very pretty; the kitchen is well equipped, we enjoyed the tiny couch with a Nintendo game, and the apartment is easy to enter whenever needed. There is a €50 cleaning fee if you don’t clean everything, wash dishes, and take out the trash, which feels quite high—shouldn’t that be part of the luxury of staying somewhere else?

“Je recommande !”

The owners are available and courteous; the accommodation overlooks a large garden, no neighbors, and is surrounded by quiet serenity. The décor is carefully staged, industrial and tasteful. The master suite on the first floor is spacious with a beautiful Art‑Deco‑style bathtub and a sink integrated into a large workbench. The kitchen is well equipped and functional (stove, microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine). It was impeccably clean, and I appreciated the little touches for traveler comfort (candies, coffee and tea pods, fresh bottled water). I’m not sure what else to add.
