“Nice stay with a beautiful view”
We had a nice stay with a beautiful view from the room, overlooking the swimming pool and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was good and the host was very welcoming. A nice bonus was having a shower wall in the bathroom, which is not very common in Sri Lanka. Keep in mind that it’s about a 10‑minute walk from the main street, along a jungle road with an uneven surface, and it’s completely dark at night. We didn’t mind because we had a scooter, but it’s something to consider if you’re walking.
The location is super beautiful, the peace and the pool overlooking the mountains. The food is delicious and the rooms are tidy and spacious. The chairs aren’t comfortable for relaxing, and sun loungers by the pool would be a nice addition.
The best hotel of our stay. Everything is perfect. The people are the kindest, gentlest we’ve ever met. The hotel itself is very pretty, both outside and inside. (Special mention to the hot shower that isn’t everywhere). The view of the pool and the mountains, and the forest, gives a very bucolic and soothing immersion. The balcony allows observation of many animals, including a large number of bird species, and it’s not rare to spot an elephant, macaques, squirrels, and giant squirrels (which I would never have seen if the staff hadn’t shown me where they usually are). The cherry on top: the meals are very, very good, generous, prepared with care, and filtered water is served. “Paradise Forest Garden” could not have been named otherwise. It’s a little haven of peace. Thanks again 🤗

The view was great, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly. It was a bit noisy, but that didn’t bother us.
It’s out of the city chaos, the staff were super welcoming and made us feel at home right away, the humanity was unmatched, and I’m very happy with the place. The Wi‑Fi disappeared sometimes.
