In a four‑star hotel in the center of Karlovy Vary, I expected air‑conditioning – but I was disappointed.
The hotel’s location was good, but we were given an old room with damaged furniture, insufficient amenities (e.g., no soap in the bathroom), and no service (e.g., no cleaning by staff during the day) or replacement of clean towels, etc.
The hotel sits right in the city centre and the room is spacious, but the cleanliness is disappointing—cobwebs everywhere, dust that hasn’t been properly cleaned, and old, worn carpets and furniture. The breakfast is modest but acceptable.
I was satisfied, the place is amazing, the theatre across the river, and I appreciated the elevator. The room equipment is older, but the bathroom and toilet are luxurious. Thanks to everyone for a pleasant stay. I have no complaints.
The room was very dirty; the carpet and floor were covered in hair and sawdust, as if they were doing renovations and forgot to clean. At the reception, when I pointed it out, the woman said it was the owner's problem and she didn’t care.
