It was a lovely place to stay and very roomy, but the beds were very uncomfortable. I had a few problems opening some windows in the bedroom, though it was okay.

The independence and availability of everything were fine, but the kitchen was dirty; an oil tray still sat in the oven, so the kitchen area needs better inspection.

I absolutely loved it and will return, but everything was problematic.

The bathroom and showers were good, bedding was clean, access was easy, and the living and dining area was spacious with outdoor chairs and a table; the site offered many activities, all at extra cost. However, some areas were dirty—fans and radiators in the bathrooms, very dirty windows, beds too small for adults with poor mattresses, and the kitchen lacked basic utensils. We weren't told about the extra cost for using the park facilities, which was expensive. The power cut happened twice, so we left early to get some sleep.

The caravan itself was acceptable, though a bit older and more worn than usual; Heather, the cleaner, was friendly and helpful. In the evenings, noise from other residents was loud, and the rubbish bins overflowed and weren't emptied all week, leading to flies and odor in the hot weather. Local take‑aways were pricey, 25‑30 % higher than elsewhere, and Leysdown‑on‑Sea felt generally run‑down and shabby. The site staff we met were uninterested and unfriendly.
