The location was good and the staff were very attentive, but the equipment was really basic, dusty, uncomfortable, and most of all the place felt very unsafe.

It was quite spacious and the location was convenient. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious with very generous portions.

The lodge had a great spot overlooking the mountains near Isalo National Park, a spectacular sunset view, and a helpful manager. As the name suggests, the facilities were basic, with no running water and no electric outlet.
