“Beautiful island and facilities. Buffet could be improved.”
Beautiful island with great facilities. We stayed in a beach villa with a pool and sunset view, and it’s highly recommended. The F&B staff was extremely helpful, accommodating meals on request for young kids and an infant, which we really appreciated. In general, all staff were very friendly and willing to help, and we were treated like royals throughout the stay. However, the food in the buffet restaurant was not good, lacked variety, and simply wasn’t tasty. There weren’t enough healthy options for adults and kids, and the dishes felt repetitive almost every day. That said, the F&B staff’s help with kids’ meals improved our stay significantly, and that was highly appreciated. For a hotel of this level, the buffet should be improved. Another area for improvement is communication among staff; often the team wasn’t updated or aware of situations, and we had to explain things multiple times that should have been logged in the system, especially around transfers. Transfer timings were poor, resulting in unacceptably long connections at Male airport.
