The bed was good, the shower was good, the bathroom was good, and the hotel staff were very welcoming. We stayed in two rooms while on business. In China people smoke a lot, and I don’t smoke; my room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, to the point of giving me a headache, and if I opened the window, mosquitoes and cold would come in, so I had to endure it. The only thing that bothered me was the cigarette. The breakfast is cultural; for those used to a Western breakfast, I recommend going to a Starbucks, which has one on the same street 5 min walk away. Finally, the location is fantastic, with restaurants, supermarkets, snack bars, and shopping malls all within walking distance. Worth it.

Convenient spot for grocery runs. I could grab anything I needed right outside the door. No complaints, everything worked fine.

The hotel is close to the Canton Fair, which was handy for my meetings. But they don't serve dinner, and there's no TV or bathtub in the room, so it felt a bit bare.
