Breakfast was great, with something different almost every day; coffee was always ready, and the host set the table for us. The entire property was lovingly furnished, and Madame Cochereau was very friendly and helpful. The outdoor area was beautiful, decorated with plants and well maintained. We had our own pool, since the property is always rented to a single party. There were many nicely decorated and occasional seating spots. Because the property sits right next to a small pine forest, we could hear cicadas all day and admire the stars at night. Walking to the nearest beach (Plage de l’Anglaise) takes 15 minutes on foot, and the beach is great for kids, with large rocks to climb and small stone‑lined pools that act like splash basins, providing shade. The beach is also good for snorkeling. In theory, you could start a hike directly from the property, but in July it’s too hot and the forest fire risk makes it inadvisable.
