The location was amazing, close to the metro and a great area for eating and shopping, and a short walk to some historical sights; the onsen was fabulous, along with the nightly noodles and all‑day popsicles; the staff were nice, though I hardly interacted with them because they were on the second floor and I didn’t go there often; the housekeeping team was SO lovely, meticulously cleaning my room and always friendly; the bed was SO hard, I barely slept because it was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows were also awful; I stayed for 4 nights, and while I loved the onsen, the 1 hour I spent there that night didn’t make up for the many hours of abysmal sleep; I wish I could rate it higher, but as a hotel you really only have one thing to do and that’s provide a comfortable night’s sleep, which did not happen for me; also, the room was so small, I had nowhere to put my clothes, had to move the nightstand to create a space, and wheel my suitcase under the bathroom sink just to have a walking path; for 4 nights it was not a comfortable stay and I would have stayed elsewhere if I could do it over again.

Location, communal bath, breakfast and free ramen were good, but the rooms were a little cramped and musty.

The late‑night ramen was great, the bath was nice, and the staff were all friendly. The only downside was that there were no 100V outlets.

Everything was nice, from the welcome drink to the late‑night ramen, the basement sauna and bath, and the free ice cream bar; I felt genuinely welcomed.
