The place was clean, located right on the beach, and the host was very kind and helpful. He drove us in his car to show us a place to eat and helped us shop, and his daughter, who speaks English, happily acted as our translator. No complaints.

The location is perfect, right on the beautiful beach, with plenty of tables and benches on the terrace and good shade. The host was very friendly. Everything was basic but authentic, and the kitchenette had everything we needed for an evening. The air conditioning worked well. The ferry terminal in Wando is a 15‑minute drive. The bed linens were 100 % synthetic, but I still slept well.

“I loved both of my stays and I would love to return here!”

This place is a quiet spot with a gorgeous beach literally at the doorstep; just a few stairs down from the room and you’re on the sand. The people who run the place are kind, friendly, and welcoming. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable—I liked it so much I booked it for the start and end of my five‑week vacation! The shared balcony is sociable at dinner time, especially when guests can grill together while looking out over the beautiful sea. When I was there, guests were respectful and it wasn’t loud. One night it rained and plastic “walls” were set up so everyone could still use the balcony. It’s an easy drive from Wando. I would love to stay there again. For people who don’t read Korean, it’s a little tricky to find because it’s slightly off the road and down a driveway; a photo of the roadside signage or driveway would help.
