The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is superb, and the outdoor area by the water is lovely, though it closes late in the evening. The glass in front of the window is great, the bathroom is very modern, and the public transport connections are excellent. There’s no air conditioning, and columns in the window area block a nice view of the water. The rooms are very small, and getting to the bike storage outside reception hours almost failed despite prior arrangement.

The large, bright room and the lobby with its terrace were great, but during our stay there was a long period of time when flowers were being planted right outside our balcony window, so work was going on on the balcony while we were in the room.

The room was spotless and the staff answered every request; the tram stop is just across the road, and breakfast was tasty with a lovely view of the marina boats. The hotel was very accommodating for our gluten‑free needs and the kitchen took good care of us. The bathroom in our room smelled like sewerage and it was awful – it should have been fixed right away, but it was eventually taken care of and the smell vanished.
