The Borgo felt very welcoming, immersing us in history, and the setting was beautiful. The breakfast was good and the pool was nice. The air conditioning was inefficient for the heat we were experiencing, and the cleaning under the bed was inadequate.

The location and the friendly welcome at the front desk were the highlights, but maintenance was lacking: a clogged sink, a shower faucet that fell on my head, cold morning showers, air‑conditioning that didn’t work and was timed, a pool jet that was broken with a noisy motor underneath, and poor cleaning—two specks of dust on the high shelf where the hair dryer sat. When I reported the clogged sink they promised someone would come “tomorrow” but never did, and the room was never cleaned. If you call this a “hotel,” I expect the beds to be made.

The facility is great and very suitable for regional flights, with staff who are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant serves delicious food in the evening with a wonderful view. The room was already quite worn and seemed only superficially cleaned; it was summer without air conditioning or ventilation, which was a bit borderline.

Borgo sits in a truly wonderful spot, peace reigns, perfect for those who want to relax; breakfast is good and the in‑house restaurant is also nice. It’s 20 minutes from Fano where you can find the sea, and there’s a pool with loungers. The room is a good size, but the bed feels a bit uncomfortable. The rooms still need some basic work, like fixing the toilet drain, faucets, and doors. The climate control is present but doesn’t cool enough. Cleaning is discreet, and staff are available if problems arise.
