The location is great, close to the busy area, and the host is enthusiastic and kept in touch to address my accessibility needs. The bed and blanket were comfortable, even better than a hotel, and the price was reasonable. However, the water supply was a problem: the first time there was no water, the host apologized and fixed it, but by around 11 pm the water ran out again. The host brought a large bucket of water, implying a local shortage, and we couldn’t flush the toilet or use water in the morning. The water quality wasn’t great, so we had to drive to a nearby gas station for water. The host sincerely apologized at checkout, but the water issue spoiled the stay and forced an early departure. The hostel could omit toiletries, but if there’s no water, that’s a deal‑breaker. Still, I’d recommend it unless the water problem occurs.

The host Tee greets you with a warm welcome and goes out of her way to meet your needs, speaking good English. The place feels like an AirB&B: a standalone house with three bedrooms, mostly quiet except for occasional nighttime dog noises. It sits a bit between the city center (night market) and the wooden bridge, about a 15‑minute walk each way, or you can take a tuk‑tuk for 20 BTH.
