I met the new owner, who had only been here for six weeks, and he was very friendly at check‑in. The only issue was that we three were crammed into a room with two double beds, and there was only one bath towel and one hand towel.

The price was right and it was a quick drive to hop back on the interstate. There’s no microwave in the rooms, they feel bare. Towels are thin and you only get a couple of pillows and one towel. The parking lot feels sketchy.

The price was low, but the hotel was in such terrible condition that it felt unsafe and dirty, making it not worth the cost. The shower, toilet, and sink were functional, and there was a fridge that worked; we didn’t try the microwave, so we can’t confirm its operation. The building looked abandoned and filthy from top to bottom, the TV setup seemed unprofessional—possibly illegal—and it didn’t work at all. The bed was covered in black hair, probably from a dog, and the whole place smelled of stale cigarettes. Sketchy people loitered on the side of the building, there was no security at any door, and overall it felt more like a flop house than a hotel; the photos online didn’t match the actual property.
