We’ve stayed here many times over the years and it’s always clean and easy to get to; the car parks are good and it’s walking distance to the Robin Hood Hotel for a meal and a cold drink. The only thing I can fault is that there could be a large mirror on the wardrobe door, as there is only one in the bathroom.

I appreciated the regular‑size towels; I normally get the oversized bath sheets. However, they didn’t provide a tea towel for drying the cups, and a standard toilet brush would have been expected.
