“Forferdelig. Styr unna.”

The stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel appeared filthy, and the reality did not match the pictures shown at booking. The location was also very unappealing, situated in an unpleasant, neglected back alley with a lot of noise, giving us the impression of a street where one could buy prostitutes or drugs. Everything in the room, including the bedding and curtains, had an old, sour smell, suggesting poor hygiene and lack of maintenance. The curtains were sewn in several places, and there were several scorch marks on the floor. The toilet seat was also in bad condition. After only one night, we chose to leave the hotel and find another place to stay. This was far below the expected standard, and we cannot recommend the hotel based on our experience.

“Not recommended”

The hotel was close to Taksim Square, but it is highly overrated. The building is quite old, and the room, bed, and everything inside had a strong smell of air freshener or cleaning spray. The smell was very harsh and unpleasant, especially for people who are sensitive to strong scents or have respiratory issues. The air conditioner was on the ground and was directly on your head when you were sleeping. Moreover, it was too noisy from inside the hotel. Overall, it was not a comfortable experience.

The hotel was very good for a family needing three single beds. It was clean, the personnel were kind, and the bathroom was large with excellent water pressure.
