“it did the job but no more.”
The hotel met the basic requirement of being a hotel, but the staff’s English was so poor that even when they tried to help, communication broke down. I was assigned room 127, which meant a very long walk from the carpark, and it was close to a fire escape that I wasn’t allowed to use, likely because it led straight down. The curtains were net and blocked the window entirely, with no way to pull them back to see outside. The bar staff knew nothing about the drinks behind the bar or their prices.
