At the entrance you’re greeted by broken doors. The smell inside is nauseating, like disinfectant. The room is somewhat comfortable. There’s hair on the mattress and floor, and the linens are washed but have stains. Be prepared to flush someone else’s waste in the toilet. The overall impression is extremely negative; I wouldn’t stay there again.

The price was surprisingly good for Helsinki, and the room was cozy yet clean. The shared showers and toilets were also very tidy. Overall, the place feels like a working‑class hotel, but three nights are more than enough. Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly, and a McDonald’s and Lidl were just nearby. Check‑in was absolutely smooth, but the location isn’t the true city centre; to reach the beach you’ll have to hop on a tram or bus.
