The older reviews were dated, and after checking them I was a bit wary, but for the Family weekend at CSUC all rooms were taken and pricey, ranging from $250 to $350 a night. The Town House had a room available, and it ran $75. The only issue that matched the comments was the towels – worn, thin, clean but dingy – so I brought my own just in case and used it. Other than that the room was tidy, the staff were helpful and kind. If you’re after perfection in every detail, this place won’t deliver. A few paint spots or a slightly off‑center plug socket might catch your eye, but the room was pleasant for a night and I slept well. Plus there’s a nice Italian restaurant right across the street with good food. I’d come back.

“Wrong turn! Go back!”

There was no breakfast at all. I was also pushed out of the room by a man who rushed me to grab my stuff and leave. It wasn’t that they were fully booked; it felt rude and they just wanted us gone. Check‑out is at 11, yet the staff began banging on my door around 9 am. The room’s condition was shady at best – not what I expected for such a low price, and it was a complete joke compared to what was described.
