We arrived by borrowed bicycles and found it hard to get a bus to the Inspiration Center, so we had a small issue with luggage transfer, but the owner was kind enough to move it for us. The building used to be a retirement home but has a very pleasant, relaxed vibe. A large garden with a hammock and a trampoline completes the experience. Breakfast was good, and the homemade rolls were especially tasty. In the rooms there was no cooking facility and only a kettle in the shared lounge, which limits a longer stay. Public transport is almost impossible (only a school bus).
“For dyrt til standarten”
I stayed in the small independent house on the road with a nice back garden. The rooms were a decent size but old. The whole house smelled damp and old everywhere, the steep stairs were tough, and the traffic on the nearby road was heavy. House cleaning was okay, TV service was questionable, and the dishwasher probably didn’t work well. No child seat, and the dining chairs were terrible to sit on. The courtyard had awful windows and could have been much cozier with a bit of improvement. The price and standard didn’t match. I don’t think the description of the place matched the photos of the house from the outside or its location.
“schlecht, nicht empfehlenswert”
I felt ripped off, paying almost 300 euros a night in that old building. I had to make the beds myself and pull the sheets off, and the mattress topper was just a plain foam pad. Everything seemed stuck in a 1970s standard—totally unacceptable.
The place is stunning, lovingly decorated, and the shared bathroom, shower, and toilet area were very clean – all top quality! I arrived late and the host was waiting and very friendly. Nothing negative.
“Vi sov der i forbindelse med en fest i området. Det var så fint. Vi fik ikke morgenmad.”
The atmosphere was cozy, but the shared toilet and bathroom were a bit lacking.
