Great location, aesthetics, and cheap. American travelers, please read before booking. The location is great, the Peruvian-inspired aesthetic is adorable, the price is cheap, and the staff could be accommodating—but after staying here, I understand why it’s inexpensive. If you’re an American tourist expecting the standards suggested by the high reviews, you may be surprised by the condition and operation of the property. The walls are EXTREMELY thin. I could literally hear guests whispering across the hall. There is no AC or heater, and the blankets provided were very thin. My room was freezing during my stay, and I became sick. Every door was a nightmare—the two entrance gates AND my Room 301 door. My room door never operated easily from the moment I arrived, and an employee even witnessed me struggling with it during my stay. At checkout, they nevertheless tried to charge me S/100 for allegedly damaging that same door. I refused. The shower was another nightmare. Hot water was extremely difficult to stabilize, and my shower would randomly turn on when the person using the neighboring bathroom ran their water. Cleanliness was also concerning. I received sheets with someone else’s hair on them. When I requested a bath mat, I was brought what appeared to be the same visibly filthy mat I had previously seen on the floor near reception, complete with hair, lint, and dirt. The refrigerator and microwave were unplugged rather than ready to use. Also, if you want housekeeping, apparently you need to request/remind them before noon each day because housekeeping ends around noon. Finally, after I disputed the S/100 door charge at checkout, the luggage assistance I expected was not completed all the way down, leaving me to handle the final flight myself with a lot of luggage. Cute hotel, excellent location and inexpensive—but there are significant maintenance, cleanliness, soundproofing, heating and operational issues that American travelers in particular should know about before booking

Very affordable, clean and comfortable - good value for money. Staff were super super helpful and friendly, and I appreciated the flexibility and comms given this was a last minute booking. Shower had good temperatures, but the hotter you want it, the lower pressure. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment. There is a kitchen is you want to make drinks etc. It is down an alley, and behind cream metal doors, then behind black iron gates which wasn't very obvious. Could do with a sign on the cream gates as I wasn't sure if I was going into someone's home!

Le petit déjeuner était très bon et il y avait du choix. Les lits étaient très confortables

Hotel is really nice looking. Room was big. Not in the real center of Cuzco, not easy to spot from outside (in a inside courtayard) breakfast ok but can be improved
