Mustapha Camp Merzouga

The staff at En Mustapha are very good guides, welcoming and attentive, always making sure everything is fine. The food they serve is excellent (all‑you‑can‑eat buffet). They offer Wi‑Fi and a few charging points. It’s a nice place to meet people, and the value for money is very good. However, keep in mind that besides the room rate you’ll need to budget an extra 25–35 euros per person to reach the campsite, which in our case added about 70 euros. The campfire show isn’t authentic and is in a crowded area, which can affect light pollution; if you want an astronomical show, go when there’s no moon! The desert could be cleaner… there’s also uncollected tourist litter.

The spirit of being in the desert is an experience like no other, but unfortunately, the harsh winter conditions made it difficult to enjoy. Despite the challenges, the staff's availability and willingness to please made our stay worthwhile. I would highly recommend visiting this camp during a different time of year, when the conditions are more favorable.

“Great time in Desert”

I had an incredible time at this camp, thanks to the amazing hosts who made sure everything was perfect. The activities were fantastic, and the fact that sandboarding was free was a lovely bonus. The transfer fee of 25 euros per person round-trip was reasonable, and I appreciated how helpful the staff were with every aspect of my stay. The camp itself was great, and the desert, although a bit touristy, was stunning in February.

“Alles super”

My stay at this Moroccan hotel was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my trip. The food was exceptional, the hospitality was outstanding, and the price was very reasonable. In the evenings, they would have a campfire with music, and we even had access to sandboards. I would definitely return someday and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience.
