“the quiet and the natural beauty, the houses & narrow road ways”
the location, the hot bath, the comfortable beds and pillows. the staff were exceptional. the view of the temple/pergola on the island was beautiful. the contrast of the peace & quiet & across the bay Nippon steel. the fishing boats and the town itself - the narrow streets , the gardens, the houses & architecture. the meals were huge. now know i don’t like octopus or abalone. the second dinner was the best - waggu with rice delicious

It was very nice and quaint, but the room had mosquitoes.

Shuttle bus from Fukuyama JR to the hotel, excellent hospitality from well‑trained, professional staff, a fantastic sea view from the room balcony, great dinner and breakfast, a nice reception area with complimentary alcohol and soft drinks, and meticulous attention to every guest’s needs – fantastic! Nothing else comes to mind.

The bathtub in the room was surprisingly comfortable, and the view from the window along with the hum of the ship’s engine added to the pleasant atmosphere. No complaints.
