I’ve stayed at Hotel Luz three times now, and the bunk room still feels like the right choice for a hostel‑budget traveler who still wants a private room and bathroom. The staff responds quickly, and the free parking is a great bonus. The hotel’s location is solid and the price is a steal. The beds are super comfy, the AC keeps the room cool, and the room comes with everything you could need—including bug spray, which I appreciated. I’ll be back again.

Because of these unsanitary conditions, I immediately called their staff at 787‑523‑8431. They told me there were no other rooms available for a change, so I left. During the call, the staff assured me that my money would be refunded. Pest problem: I saw a cockroach directly on the bed as soon as I entered. Lack of deep cleaning: When I moved the executive fridge to find the insect, I discovered a pile of trash and food wrappers that showed the area hadn’t been properly sanitized before my arrival.
