“Asa si asa”
The setting and the friendliness of the reception staff were appreciated, but despite assurances that vegan options would be available at breakfast, they were missing. Worse, one evening a guest fell ill and the waiter, even after being asked urgently for a glass of water, refused. He appeared in a bad mood, claiming he could bring water only at a cost. After about 5 minutes he returned, this time with a small bottle of bottled water, which was added to the room bill. Paying for it was unacceptable, especially since throughout Europe restaurants are required to provide free drinking water, and the staff’s lack of humanitarian assistance could have led to a tragedy. The next evening, even though we did not complain about the incident, we noticed that several water carafes were brought.
