The location, the staff, and the room were great

It’s a nice place. Very far from everything, and there was a storm so we couldn’t even have dinner. Nobody would come to bring us food because of that weather.

The kitchen and leisure rooms were nice, and the beds/room were comfy (and well heated after 10 hours of the coastal path). Great little spot! Also not that busy when we went (late Feb). Nothing really – it was perfect.

It was nice not being too far from local beaches to visit and to go hiking, especially since it was our anniversary weekend and I was visiting my daughter who had stayed there once before finding accommodation near work. You can use the kitchen facilities and there’s a seating area made from wooden pallets, which is not bad at all. It was warm in the kitchen. The room had information about places to go and a little map in the bedroom. My husband wrote on the milk and butter but didn’t read the fridge info until later and didn’t see the label on the microwave with pens. Because it said it’s a shared fridge, he found milk moved to the other fridge. One tray needs a good clean that holds the big cutlery, so there’s still a bit of a hygiene problem. We checked out of the room and were still able to have a day out with my daughter and come back to use the kitchen to eat before we left, disappointed with the microwave as someone decided to use it and not clean it off after use so no one else could use it. So I had to clean someone else’s mess just to use it, which made us quite angry for a three to four journey back home. The air fryer was sticky and kept stopping, and none of them had labels to be cleaned after use. It was very cold at night and I really needed to wrap up warm or bring extra blankets. It was very windy on Saturday night and something wasn’t secured, causing constant banging during the bad weather night.
