“Geborgen in Wien”
The hotel serves as an ideal base for a visitor to Vienna; all public transport is just a few steps away. You enter through an inner courtyard where the old factory chimney still stands, pass the restaurant with its outdoor terrace, and then reach the reception. The building was a textile factory until 1975, sat empty for a while, and then was successfully converted into a hotel that captivates with its unique charm. The rooms are modern and functional, equipped with all necessary comforts. Breakfast is great, especially the omelette. The restaurant, part of this “home base,” offers excellent dining on the covered outdoor terrace, with the schnitzel and potato salad highly recommended. It’s also a perfect spot to unwind after an evening city walk, and I could imagine staying here for a whole week—it's that wonderful.
