Wanamal Lake Front Yala

We arrived late and left very early for the Yala day safari, so we didn’t get to see the surroundings that other guests mention in reviews; everything was dark and I didn’t get a spectacular view. The owners were attentive at our arrival and departure, offered to handle the safari (though we arranged it with our guide), and could prepare dinner or breakfast for us. A huge cockroach entered under the door, the biggest I’ve ever seen, and ants were in the bathroom and room. The location seemed far from the park.

I felt right at home during my stay at this hotel, thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed bag, with some lovely aspects and a few areas for improvement. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light and a balcony with a beautiful view. The food was also delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the location was a bit of a trek, and the lack of hot water in the shower and mosquito net was a bit of a letdown.

“Exceptional”

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The rooms were roomy and spotless, with clean and well-maintained bathrooms. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the surroundings, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, preparing delicious meals for us and even booking a safari tour at Yala Safari Park. The hotel's proximity to the park and the reasonable price made it an excellent choice. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

I had a peaceful and serene experience at this hotel, perfect for those seeking a secluded getaway. The location was ideal for birdwatching and observing the water buffalo cooling off in the lake from the comfort of my balcony. However, I had to be self-sufficient as there were no shops or restaurants within walking distance. The friendly staff were happy to arrange meals for me, and I appreciated the convenience of being picked up by Yala safari tours.
