The location was fine and the view from the common area was nice. However, the facilities fell short: there was no water supply early in the morning (around 6 am), the staff were sleeping and offered no assistance, and there is no lift in the building. With rooms spread over four floors, you have to climb a long set of stairs to reach the hostel and then another set to get to your room. The crowd was also not ideal.

The location was great, just a stroll from Laxman Jhula with a beautiful view, and the property itself was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and the common area had a lively vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially during check‑in and for local tips, creating a great atmosphere to meet other travelers. Honestly, there was nothing major to complain about; everything was good for the price.

The rooftop was a highlight. The room, however, looked abandoned: spider webs everywhere, ants around the sink, and the electricity was off half the time, so the AC didn’t work. For that price, it’s unacceptable.
