“Don't miss Estancia Rio Penitente!”
The staff were on point and the facilities spotless, and the fishing right on the lake was a real treat. Honestly, I can’t think of a single thing that bothered me – everything just worked.

This place feels run by genuinely friendly people, and the dinner was surprisingly good while breakfast was solid enough. I also loved the short stroll down to the river – perfect for a quick breath of fresh air.

What a great spot – the dinner we had was tasty and the horseback ride was a fun way to explore the area. Nothing really went wrong, so I’d say it’s a solid choice for a relaxed getaway.

A wonderful place that captures the vibe of an old‑world inn, and the hosts were absolutely excellent – friendly, helpful, and attentive. I left feeling like I’d gotten a genuine taste of the past.

The building’s history is really interesting and adds a lot of character to the stay. Unfortunately there was nowhere to hang my coat and the door wouldn’t lock without forcing it, which was a hassle.
