“Alles in allem ok”
The hotel is small but has a café next door. Check‑in was smooth and very quick. The staff were friendly. There’s a fridge in the foyer with drinks that’s open 24/7, mainly beers and a few soft drinks. Our room was very basic, nothing special. The balcony doors had insect screens. Feedback is apparently encouraged, as a feedback sheet is in a folder on the room’s desk; that folder also contains all the important information about the hotel and surroundings (breakfast times, shops, laundry service, etc.). At breakfast you’re asked right away if you want coffee or something similar, which I liked. The curtains in the rooms didn’t really block out light. The church next door rings in the middle of the night and apparently rings its bells at 6 am every day. The breakfast was very simple, nothing special or noteworthy. The selection was small but the basics were there. The eggs were very soft—almost wobbling—cooked. The rolls were good. There was no fresh bread. Nothing was labelled, but it could be clarified on request. What was available tasted fine.

There was a lot of noise and I couldn't sleep; I lay awake all night because of the church, which really frustrated me and I would like my money back. Because I didn't get any sleep, I was unable to carry out my activities the following day.

The hotel is nicely located in a quiet village setting. Parking is ample and free. Breakfast was very good, the products were high quality, and the ambience was pleasant. The room we stayed in, room 2, was so dark that we had to turn on the light even during the day. It also had a strange smell. I’m allergic to house dust and, despite preventive medication, I had a strong allergic reaction. I suspect that either the carpet, the mattress, or the bedding and pillows were contaminated with house‑dust mite metabolic products. The bathroom was clean, but the transparent shower wall had noticeable limescale deposits. To justify the price for such an unremarkable room, significant investments would be necessary.
A separate room with charging for the e‑bike was available.
