I picked this hotel after seeing its photos online, though they weren't exactly as shown, yet everything else was great. The staff at the first‑floor restaurant were quite unprofessional; we visited twice and disliked their attitude, whereas the rooftop restaurant staff were amazing.

I spent five nights at the Radisson Hotel Colombo in September 2026, outside the main tourist season, so the hotel was relatively quiet. Located in Colombo 04 on the main road, it was easy to find, with nearby ATMs and Galle Road offering many shops, restaurants, and amenities, just a short tuk‑tuk ride to the city center. My room was clean, tidy, and spacious with a very good sea view; the morning view over the sea was especially enjoyable. The bathroom had plenty of amenities and the shower had good water pressure. Daily buffet food was excellent, with a good variety of vegetarian options, though I didn’t have breakfast to comment on. The rooftop bar was great for relaxing. I didn’t use the pool, so I can’t say how busy it was. Staff were helpful and welcoming at check‑in, and I appreciated their assistance when I asked about checking the weight of my luggage toward the end of my trip; two complimentary water bottles were replenished each day, which was a nice touch. Overall, I had a good experience; the location, spacious comfortable room, excellent sea view, good food options, and helpful staff made it a very convenient base for my time in Colombo, and I would consider staying again. One issue was moisture on the floor near the window after heavy rain, about 6 inches from the wall/window, and a similar problem in the conference room where I trained; it didn’t significantly affect my stay, but the hotel might want to check window sealing or drainage during heavy rainfall.
