The hotel was nice.

The view from the hotel was soothing, and the surrounding scenery was pleasant. The room and living area had three or four bedbugs that flew around like bees all night, which was very disturbing and made the stay uncomfortable. Although the exterior looked glamorous, the room’s equipment was too old; the master bedroom’s bed had no frame, just two spring mattresses glued together, so it was soft, unsupported, and noisy, which could affect heavy sleepers.

The indoor space was spacious and the outdoor view was beautiful. There was nothing negative.

I loved the location, but couldn't hang laundry.

The building looked gorgeous and the whole place was private, so we had plenty of space. Even with a heavy snowfall for the first time in 12 years, the interior stayed warm and the cleaning was spot‑on, making mornings relaxed. The night before, I heated take‑out in a microwave or toaster, added my own powdered soup and tea, and enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the cute kitchen and dining area. It was great to be able to bring food that I couldn't eat on the road or bring home. The website didn’t list any amenities, yet they had skincare, shampoo, and toothbrushes ready, which was a relief. The management team was extremely supportive, giving me taxi and restaurant recommendations after booking, and on the day of travel they kept me updated when the train to the nearest station was cancelled or weather made a planned outing difficult, which helped me have a smooth, fulfilling trip. I’m grateful for the staff’s warmth. On the downside, the cold region meant that every night a few stink bugs appeared in the bedroom, which was surprising. The rooms varied in whether they had an AC and the type of futon, so it’s best to check those details before choosing a room.
