“Exceptional”

The location is fantastic for nature lovers, the owners are friendly and offer great local activity tips, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious! We were a bit unlucky with the weather, missing out on stargazing, but we did meet the local "stars" Kiki and Kuma :-)

“Peace, quiet, restful. Hoping to visit again some day soon!”

Stargazing was a highlight, and the resident cats Kiki and Kuma were the loveliest; they cooked the heartiest, tastiest meals, and in the morning we enjoyed handmade bread. The place was very clean, as if it were their own home. We appreciated that we were strongly encouraged to leave the premises at 1000 and return at 1600 while they cleaned up. The only downside was that it was cloudy on the second night, so no stargazing – a weather issue, not the lodging’s fault, so keep an open mind about how weather can affect plans in eastern Hokkaido.

The location is great, the owners are super friendly and the homemade food is excellent. The room was comfortable, and we were lucky to see the stars at night, an amazing experience shared with the owner. The owners also give excellent advice on local activities and nature. Nothing to complain about – a great place to stay if you want to enjoy nature!

“Parfait en tout point !”

The location is ideal, the staff are very attentive, the room is impeccably clean, and the breakfasts and dinners are of high quality. The house cats will greet you, and if you’re lucky you’ll have company.

The host of the guesthouse is kind, and there are two adorable cats. The food is delicious and generous.
