How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
Nothing was good. The manager was very rude and unfriendly. The room door was broken, the TV wasn’t working and neither was the wifi. The location had no network connectivity and the water was dirty. When I mentioned all this to the manager he claimed that I was “lying” even though all the evidence was in front of him. He was very rude and shouldn’t be in that position with that attitude

I am stayed at this property from 10 to 12 Dec 2025. Unfortunately Despite my booking at Kalapani Nest on 15 December 2025 , property owner refused to allow check in due to non availability of accommodation. Their preference is to accommodate first, offline user to earn more money during peak seasons and deny accommodation to online customers booked and other platform. Also staff behaviour is very rudely. All online custmers is advised to not to book kaalapani nest through online. They refused accommodation to online customers on plea that online customers booked accommodation at very low price and in a peak seasons offline customers give high rate. As per local rickshaw drivers, this is a home stay and very sloppy road to kaala pani and rickshaw drivers drop far away from home stay resulting walking in slope with luggage is very difficult. Also cheapest three star hotel in same rates are also available nearby city centre. Also earlier they refused to return deposit amount with property and promised me to give another accommodation at their other property without additional cost. They called rickshaw and forcefully board me in said rickshaw to another property name Hotel Guru approx one km away from their location. But owner of Hotel Guru also refused to give accommodation on same rate. After long argument with Kaalapani owner, they returned my advance amount online at approx 2.30 PM on 15 Dec 2025. In this episode my valuable time wasted and my remaining tour spoiled by kaalapani owner Earlier my stay from 10 to 12 Dec 2025 is very painful due to low quality mattress and ply for double bed of home stay. All outsider are requested to not to book Kaalapani Home Stay online to avoid any cheating by way of not giving accommodation after reaching the location in peak seasons
