We had already stayed twice at this cute little hotel; it’s very convenient, close to the city centre, and the free parking at the Weißenburg city parking lot is within walking distance. Unfortunately, because it’s a beautifully renovated old building, there’s no lift, and I probably should have mentioned that my new knee can’t handle stairs well, otherwise we might not have ended up on the third floor.

The hotel’s location is perfect, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was great—we were there for the second time. Our room had a balcony or terrace, but it couldn’t be used because scaffolding was attached to the wall and water dripped from above, giving the outside a somewhat “gross” look.
