the amenities were a highlight of my stay
a bit of a drawback, although a convenient motorbike taxi service helped to alleviate this issue

“Espectacular”
The food was tasty. The rooms were very basic, and the pools were also simple. They’re very hot, and I’m not sure how that can be changed.
The staff were friendly, there are three pools providing plenty of space for swimming, lots of bathrooms nearby, and the rooms, lobby and restaurant all have air‑conditioning; the food tasted good and the price included breakfast and a salty snack, plus a fresh fruit plate in the room, and tours to the lagoon are offered for an extra fee. On the downside, the hotel doesn’t have direct beach access—only a terrace onto the lagoon, so you have to go to the opposite Bay of the Sun hotel for the beach; food, dinner and drinks are pricey and not included, the rooms are minimal with just a bed, two nightstands and a TV, and you’re not allowed to bring your own food or drink. The door lock was a bit tricky at first, the glass side of the door reflects external light straight onto the bed, and the lights stay on late, which made sleeping uncomfortable. In the lobby area there are water‑treatment tanks that give off a bad smell.
“The hotel was beautiful and the staff provide magnificent service .”
I liked having an attendant who followed and accompanied me throughout my stay. Stanley was amazing. The bar drinks were great, especially the raspberry Paloma, which was my favorite. The front desk staff were very polite, too. I didn’t like that there was no ATM on site because there’s no way to tip the staff if you don’t already have cash. There are no shuttle services.
Everything was perfect.
Good location. New facilities but low quality, with a smell of sewage water.
