The check‑in turned into a hassle – the staff asked us to pay for the room again, at a higher price, even though we’d already settled it a week before arrival. They didn’t even ask for our name and handed over cash without a receipt. After about an hour of proving we’d paid and a call to customer service, they finally returned the money, but the whole episode left a very bad impression of how tourists are treated here.
